If you have a passion for student health and wellness, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of middle school students and staff. The Community Health/School Nurse is responsible for providing a wide range of health services to students including routine and emergency care, and medication administration. Ideal candidates will have experience working with middle school aged children, school nursing, pediatric or comparable nursing experience. Recommended Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Over two (2) years of experience in school, pediatric, community health or comparable nursing experience.
Licenses/Certificates:
Registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current certifications in Adult and Pediatric BLS CPR/First Aid/AED or certifications obtained prior to start. Must possess a valid driver's license. MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Nurse Licensure preferred, but not required.
