Incredible Health seeks an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care. You'll assess patients before surgery, circulate and scrub during procedures, and closely monitor status to ensure optimal outcomes. You'll follow strict sterile and safety protocols, document care in the EHR, and educate patients and families throughout the surgical journey. Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff, you'll help improve workflows and outcomes. Responsibilities Provide safe, competent nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Function as circulating and/or scrub nurse, ensuring sterile technique and proper instrument handling Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-op care Document all aspects of care accurately in the EHR and follow hospital protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve workflows, quality, and patient outcomes Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards in the operating room Required Skills Intraoperative nursing care Pre- and post-operative assessment Aseptic and sterile technique Circulating and scrub roles Surgical instrumentation knowledge Patient monitoring and vital signs Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Medication and anesthesia support Infection prevention and control Interdisciplinary team communication
