As a travel RN specializing in complex orthopedic surgery, you'll thrive in a busy, state-of-the-art operating room staffed by dynamic professionals and equipped with the latest technology. Here, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the region's most respected surgeons, gaining invaluable experience with advanced procedures, diverse workplace styles, and high-efficiency OR processes. This is the perfect environment for resume-building and professional growth, with extensive exposure to the latest in orthopedic surgery and first assist protocols.
Schedule/Hours:
10 or 12-hour shifts available Weekend call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM One overnight trauma call (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) per schedule
Key Responsibilities:
First scrub complex total joint revision cases (Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, Zimmer) Operate with Mako robotic-assisted surgery and Hana table First assist in polytrauma orthopedic cases with minimal supervision Maintain high efficiency: 30-minute room turnovers, support 90% first case on-time start rate Collaborate in a fast-paced, five-OR suite dedicated to high acuity orthopedic care
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum two years' experience in orthopedic surgery and trauma Proficient in multi-vendor systems, advanced orthopedic instrumentation Experience with Mako robotic systems and Hana table preferred CNOR certification preferred Flexibility for extended shifts and weekend coverage a must
