Position Summary:

Registered Nurse who functions as the hospital wide Rapid Respond and SWAT Nurse responding to Acute Care Unit requests for urgent or emergent patient care needs. Provides emergency response as needed based on specific unit needs, patient activity and crisis situations of an intermittent nature. Great opportunity for the next step into a leadership role. PICC line training will be included with this position. McLaren Oakland is a 318-bed hospital that provides primary and specialty healthcare services to the greater Pontiac and Oakland County, Michigan communities. McLaren Oakland has grown to a comprehensive medical community that includes outpatient facilities in Clarkston and Oxford, in addition to an inpatient hospital in Pontiac providing a range of clinical services including emergency and trauma care, cardiology, cancer services, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and orthopedic services.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, holding a current license to practice in the state of Michigan. ACLS certification BLS certification Previous experience in critical care/emergency department setting
