1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring an active MN RN license and low patient volume care. Details Work in the Emergency Room of an acute care Critical Access Hospital Unit sees fewer than 300 patients per month and is typically staffed with one nurse Patient population includes a mix of cultures such as Latino and Micronesian communities Rare psych patients and occasional pediatric cases, with complex pediatric cases transferred to St. Cloud facilities MIs and CVAs are typically transferred out to higher level facilities Uses
MEDITECH EMR
system Uses Plum IV pumps and Nihon Kohden cardiac monitors 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, every 3rd weekend 36 guaranteed hours per week No locked rooms or on-site security, though the hospital can be placed on lock-down if needed Requirements Active MN RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC MN Netstudy fingerprint background check required Additional Information Provide direct emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, low-volume rural ER setting 12 hours of orientation provided Care for a culturally diverse patient population
