A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Day/Evening/Weekend/Holiday Shift (United States of America) Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is currently seeking to find qualified individuals to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high quality services to our southwest Minnesota community.
Position Highlights Summary:
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Minnesota Statutes 148.171 to 148.285. Adherence to the American Nurses Association Standard of Practice for professional nurses. Adherence to the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Must demonstrate critical thinking skill sets. Must be able to multi task. Education and/or
Experience:
Graduate of an approved school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota and/or meeting the requirements of multi state licensure. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Certifications in ACLS; TNCC or CALS; and NRP required or must be obtained within one year of hire. The pay range for this position is $41.31 - $55.95 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
