Job Description

Regions Hospital is seeking an RN to work in a full time Nurse Navigator role in our Cancer Care Center. The Oncology Nurse Navigator serves as a patient advocate and care coordinator for individuals diagnosed with cancer. This role provides clinical guidance, emotional support, and logistical assistance throughout the continuum of care; from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, or end-of-life care. The Nurse Navigator works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely access to services, reduce barriers to care, and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 0800-1700
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (RN). Associate's degree in nursing Two years of nursing experience in oncology (medical, surgical, radiation or infusion). Current Registered Nurse license in either the state of Minnesota or Wisconsin upon hire. Must provide proof of application for alternate state license prior to start and obtain the second license within 30 days of hire. Both Minnesota and Wisconsin RN license must be maintained. Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willing to obtain within 2 years of hire OR successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle. Current colleagues have until July 1, 2028, to become OCN certified. Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. On-line only is not accepted.
