Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team in Assisted Living at Spring Valley Living. In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the medical and health services of our residents. You will also be responsible for training and developing our non-licensed direct care staff to ensure the highest quality of care. Current Openings Full-Time Days with on-call phone responsibilities. Responsibilities Train, develop, and test staff on competencies to do the direct care that is needed for the residents.

Oversee implementation of resident care:

assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing-related care. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to providing healthcare to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Work with the housing director on admission, care plan, and discharge processes for assisted living tresidents. Manage the communication with the direct care staff on the care needed for new admissions and changes in care due to assessments. Educate other healthcare team members, residents, and family on information regarding the care plan. Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies as necessary. Oversee and monitor the clinical components of the medical record for completeness and accuracy. Work with other health agencies and family members in the physical and emotional transitions of admission, care, and discharge of the client Participate in the facility's Quality Improvement Program. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
