Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Clinical Research Nurse to join the Missouri Memory Center and CMH Neurology and Headache Center in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who brings clinical expertise, attention to detail, compassion, and a commitment to advancing patient care through clinical research.       Days, 0700-1730 Incentives Qualified candidates may also receive: Tuition Assistance or Loan Reimbursement Up to $ 10,000 Sign-On Bonus What Your Day Looks Like The Missouri Memory Center and CMH Neurology and Headache Center serves as the coordinating center for multi-site, international drug trials focused on the prevention of Alzheimer's disease, Headache/Migraine studies, and other clinical research trials as indicated. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary research team and perform duties associated with the coordination and implementation of a variety of complex research activities, including the collection, compilation, and management of clinical and study data generated by research protocols. This position will assist the Principal Investigator with basic to severely complex research studies while helping ensure the quality of nursing practices and adherence to best practices. The Clinical Research Nurse will also provide administrative and research support to the research center, other departments, and outside entities cooperating in research efforts. As a Clinical Research Nurse you will be:
      • Coordinating and managing research protocols and ensuring compliance with protocol guidelines and institutional policies and procedures
      • Ensuring strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable ICH requirements
      • Interacting with participants throughout clinical research studies
      • Conducting and assisting with screening visits
      • Assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) with Inclusion/Exclusion criteria review
      • Assisting with the informed consent process
      • Monitoring participant progress throughout the study
      • Completing visit documentation and maintaining accurate study records
      • Reporting adverse events and other events as defined by the sponsor-provided protocol
      • Supporting the collection, compilation, and management of study data
      • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary research team, CMH departments, Principal Investigators, sponsors, and outside research entities
      • Promoting quality nursing practices, patient safety, and adherence to research standards We strive to continuously educate and support each other in the advancement of clinical research, critical thinking, nursing practice, and the delivery of high-quality care to every participant.
      Qualifications Education:
      Nursing degree as required for RN licensure and position requirements, BSN preferred.
      Skills:
      Clinical expertise, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to work effectively with research participants and multidisciplinary teams.
      Licensure/Certification:
      Registered Nurse (RN)
      Knowledge/Experience:
      Ability to understand and follow detailed research protocols, maintain accurate documentation, protect participant confidentiality, and adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
      Physical Requirements:
      The ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and to work effectively in a clinical and research environment.
