1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring proficiency across multiple surgical specialties and on-call availability. Details Operating Room setting providing circulating nursing care across multiple surgical specialties Day shift schedule of four 9.5-hour shifts weekly, Monday-Friday, 6:30a-4p On-call required 3 weeknights per month and 1 weekend every 6 weeks Must be able to reach the hospital within 30 minutes when on call Circulates cases in Orthopedics including total joints, arthroscopy, and orthopedic trauma Circulates OB/GYN cases including C-sections, robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomy, D&C, and related GYN procedures Circulates General Surgery cases including robotic, laparoscopic, and open colon procedures, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, and mastectomy/breast biopsy Circulates Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Interventional Radiology cases Requirements Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand Proficient circulating experience across Orthopedic, OB/GYN, and General surgery specialties required, as these are the primary call coverage cases Experience circulating additional specialties including Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Interventional Radiology preferred Additional Information Responsible for coordinating patient care functions within the OR alongside other disciplines and providers Ensures patients receive professional nursing care throughout their surgical appointment
