Clinical Research Nurse
Job Description
The Clinical Research Nurse supports our inpatient and outpatient clinical trials. Will be responsible for implementing clinical research activities, recruitment and enrollment, data collection and clinical assessments, investigational drug administration, and quality assurance, as well as assisting with study initiation, maintaining study supplies and study documentation, and ensuring the department is in compliance with federal and local regulations. Current licensure in the State of Missouri as a Registered Nurse is required, or ability to obtain Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required Experience in phlebotomy required Experience placing IVs and giving infusions required Experience in clinical research preferred Highly effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to assess laboratory results and trends to escalate clinically significant lab values to the Principal Investigator Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population and indication being studied Ability to follow detailed and specific timelines for dosing, blood draws, and other assessments BLS Certification required
