About A-Alpha Resources A-Alpha Resources, LLC is an established provider of VA Homemaker/Home Health Aide services expanding services into the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan and surrounding areas. We are seeking a professional, dependable Mississippi-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct initial and 60 - day reassessment in-home nursing assessments for newly referred Veterans. This is a flexible, PRN/per-assessment opportunity and may be ideal for an experienced RN seeking supplemental income while maintaining control of their schedule. Service Area Initial assessments may be conducted in: Jackson Ridgeland Madison Brandon Flowood Pearl Yazoo City This includes portions of Hinds, Madison, Rankin and Yazoo Counties. Assignments will be based on Veteran referrals received by A-Alpha Resources.

Primary Responsibilities The RN will:

Conduct scheduled initial in-home nursing assessments for newly referred Veterans. Assess and document the Veteran's functional status, ADLs, health-related needs and home-safety considerations relevant to the authorized services. Complete required A-Alpha assessment documentation accurately and timely. Identify and document concerns requiring notification or escalation. Communicate assessment findings to designated A-Alpha Resources personnel. Submit completed electronic nurse assessment after the assessment has been completed immediately.

Qualifications Applicants must have:

Current, active and unrestricted Mississippi Registered Nurse license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Reliable transportation. Ability to conduct assessments in Veterans' residences. Strong assessment, documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines. Experience in home health, home care, geriatrics, community-based services or Veteran care is preferred. Schedule - PRN / As Needed Assessments will be scheduled according to new Veteran referrals. This is not a traditional full-time nursing schedule and does not require routine daily office attendance. Compensation - Competitive pay per completed initial assessment. Travel outside the primary Jackson/Ridgeland metro area, including assignments to Yazoo City.
