Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Take the next step in your nursing career by bringing your ICU expertise to a vibrant critical access hospital setting. This 13-week assignment offers an exciting opportunity to deliver compassionate care as an ICU Registered Nurse in a supportive, dynamic environment in beautiful Montana. Schedule & Hours 3x12 hour shifts per week (nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) 36 guaranteed hours per week, with potential for additional shifts Variable days, including weekends and holidays Key Qualifications Active RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred (options may be discussed for PALS) At least 3 years of ICU RN experience Two completed travel nursing contracts Experience in critical access hospital settings preferred Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation, mechanical ventilation, and IV medication titration Flexibility to float to Med/Surg when ICU is closed Core Responsibilities Provide professional care to critically ill patients, including assessment and care planning Implement interventions and ensure accurate documentation Educate patients and families, supporting their understanding and participation in care Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Respond effectively to emergencies and oversee licensed and non-licensed staff This position offers the opportunity to work with a passionate healthcare team in a facility that values collaboration and high-quality care.
