This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated RN with specialized experience in stepdown care, offering the chance to provide critical patient support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active RN license Proven expertise in stepdown nursing environments Strong assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills for patients requiring higher acuity care Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to changing patient statuses BLS and ACLS certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients, closely monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in condition Implement and assess individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied professionals Administer medications, perform interventions, and document care accurately in electronic health records Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and discharge planning Support safe transitions of care and advocate for optimal patient outcomes
