Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and the wider healthcare team Conduct patient assessments, prepare patients for procedures, and monitor their status throughout Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions Maintain precise documentation and uphold compliance with safety regulations Respond promptly to complications and emergencies as needed
