Correctional Facility Butner, NC Shift:

Monday-Friday | 12:30 PM - 9:00

PM Experience Required:

Minimum 1 year of Correctional Facility experience Hourly pay rate $50-55/hr Key Responsibilities Conduct initial intake health assessments and monitor patient vital signs. Administer and manage daily medications. Provide care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Assess and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and mental health crises. Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and stabilize patients while following facility security protocols. Collaborate with correctional officers, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records. Qualifications & Requirements Active and unrestricted RN license . Minimum 1 year of Correctional Facility experience required. Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and emergency response. Ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment. Must pass required security clearance and background checks. Previous experience in emergency, critical care, medical-surgical, or correctional nursing is preferred.

Pay:

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
