(No Weekends , No Call , No Holidays, Ambulatory Setting) Job Summary Join a growing, physician-owned ambulatory surgery center specializing in vascular procedures, with expansion into additional surgical specialties underway as we pursue QUAD A accreditation. We're hiring RNs for a rotational role spanning our OR/procedure suite and our Pre-Op/PACU unit — a great fit for an experienced perioperative or critical care nurse who wants variety in their day and a real say in patient care, without the unpredictability of hospital shift work.

What Makes This Different Outpatient hours — no nights, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call Small, tight-knit surgical team where your voice matters Rotational schedule between procedure and Pre-Op/PACU keeps the work varied Growth trajectory: as we add surgical specialties, you'll have first opportunity to cross-train Direct collaboration with physician owners, not layers of hospital administration Required Qualifications Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina Current BLS and ACLS certification Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Proficient with IV insertion and venous access Preferred Qualifications Experience in perioperative, OR, PACU, or Critical Care nursing Experience working within both an intraoperative setting and a PACU environment Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgery — reviewing history, verifying consent, ensuring documentation is complete Monitor vitals, oxygenation, and anesthesia effects during procedures, applying strong assessment skills and aseptic technique Perform wound care and maintain strict infection control standards Manage PACU recovery — assessing status, managing acute pain, and preparing patients for safe discharge or transfer Collaborate directly with physicians to coordinate intraoperative and post-anesthesia care plans Document accurately per HIPAA standards Respond to emergent situations, including airway management, per emergency protocols Conduct post-discharge follow-up calls to check on recovery and address concerns Skills Strong understanding of aseptic technique Proficient with EMR and standard clinical technology Skilled in complex patient assessment — vitals, physical exam, physiological evaluation Strong grasp of infection control and sterile processing protocols Excellent communication for triage, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary teamwork Benefits 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Physician-owned vascular surgery center in Cary, NC, growing toward full ambulatory surgery center status.
