Annual Salary:

$130k-$155k (varies depending on years of experience) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our client's Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) department. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan, focusing on preventive health, reproductive health, pregnancy care, and management of gynecological conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the NP will play a vital role in promoting wellness, educating patients, and supporting continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and gynecologic evaluations. Provide routine gynecological care including Pap smears, contraception counseling, family planning, and management of menopausal symptoms. Manage prenatal and postpartum care for low-risk obstetric patients, including routine monitoring, education, and support. Diagnose and manage common OB/GYN conditions in an outpatient setting, referring to specialists when appropriate. Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Deliver patient education regarding reproductive health, pregnancy, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. Collaborate with supervising physicians and the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development.

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in NJ. National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult-Gerontology NP with OB/GYN experience. Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Previous clinical experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care.
