Key Qualifications:

Active New Jersey School Nurse RN licensure required Minimum of one year of recent school-based RN experience Comfortable providing care district-wide and adapting to different school environments Skilled at managing caseloads and capable of overseeing entire school buildings Reliable transportation is a must; punctuality and proximity to the area strongly preferred Ability to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district LPN candidates will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, high-quality healthcare services to students and staff throughout the district Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for diverse student populations Act as a health resource, advocate, and liaison between families and educational teams Respond quickly to medical emergencies and coordinate care for chronic conditions Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Applicants will undergo a concise 15-minute interview to assess fit, with selected candidates starting as soon as possible.
