Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN/LVN license (state compliant and in good standing) At least one year of direct pediatric or school nursing experience Comfort with one-on-one care, including bus transport and all aspects of the school day Strong communication skills and a supportive, reliable attitude New graduate nurses are not eligible - prior pediatric experience is a mustResponsibilities:
Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to an assigned student throughout the school day and during transportation Monitor and respond to medical needs, medication administration, and emergency situations as needed Partner with families, school staff, and support personnel to foster the student's wellbeing and inclusion Maintain accurate health records, documenting care, interventions, and any incidents Advocate for the assigned student's health and participate in care planning as required This long-term assignment offers the chance to build relationships and support the educational journey of a student in need of dedicated medical care.
