Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to take on the role of Unit Manager. In this leadership position, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and exceptional management abilities . This position offers a sign-on bonus of $5000 to qualified candidate. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily operations of the unit to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical evaluations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards and medical documentation requirements. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in critical situations, promoting best practices in patient management. Engage in utilization review processes to optimize resource allocation and improve care efficiency. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in PCC EMR system. Participate in discharge planning, family education, and health coaching for patients. Qualifications Current RN licensure in the state of New York. Proven experience in long-term care settings. Strong background in team management, including supervising nursing staff and fostering a collaborative work environment. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is required. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of patient care.
