CNY, P.C.
is a 6-physician specialty practice with multiple locations in the Central New York area. We are expanding and seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented triage Registered Nurse to assist and support our 6 physicians along with our 6 mid-levels. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of clinical contact for patient inquiries, coordinating care, assessing urgency of symptoms, and ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate follow‑up care. This role involves working closely with GI providers, care coordinators, and administrative staff. Duties include - Completing patient triage. Determine priorities of care based on physical and safety needs. Takes patient phone calls regarding all aspects of their medical care including symptoms, medication refills, test results, coordinating prior authorizations, insurance requirements, patient teachings of biologics, physician orders and lab work, health problems and education, etc. Communicates effectively with physicians about changes in patient's status and symptoms. Salary based on experience. Candidates with MEDENT experience will get priority.

Experience:
Nursing:
3-5 years (Required) Minimum of 1‑2 years of RN clinical experience, preferably in gastroenterology, ambulatory care, or telephone triage. Triage (Required) Medent EMR (Strongly Preferred) Medication Prior Authorization (Preferred)
License/Certification:
BLS (Required) NYS RN license (Required)
