RN:
As an RN at Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center, you'll take the lead in delivering top-tier care while supporting and guiding a fully staffed team of CNAs.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians using the "five rights" system Supervise, direct, and support CNAs in their daily duties Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions to the Unit Manager or Nurse Supervisor Ensure compliance with residents' individualized care plans Handle and document all aspects of controlled substances and medication storage Accurately chart in
Nursing Notes, MARs, Treatment Records, and Care Plans What We're Looking For:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Empathetic, professional, and team-oriented mindset Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
