•7:00 PM About Us CNY Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing innovative, evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ketamine Infusion Clinic team. Position Summary The Registered Nurse will work closely with our psychiatrist and medical assistant to provide safe, high-quality ketamine infusion treatments in an outpatient setting. This role requires strong IV skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to care. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access for ketamine infusions Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment Obtain and document vital signs, assessments, and treatment responses Collaborate with the psychiatrist and medical assistant to coordinate patient care and treatment plans Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical emergencies Educate patients regarding treatment expectations, safety precautions, and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Assist with maintaining a welcoming, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Current BLS certification required Strong IV insertion and infusion therapy skills required Experience in emergency medicine, critical care, infusion therapy, anesthesia, psychiatry, or outpatient infusion settings preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with providers and support staff Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach to care Benefits Consistent daytime schedule (Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 AM
