Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in a Pre-Op/PACU setting. The RN will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, monitoring patients during recovery, administering medications, and collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients before and after surgical procedures. Prepare patients for surgery and verify pre-operative requirements. Monitor vital signs, airway, pain, and recovery status. Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered. Provide post-anesthesia care and identify complications promptly. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team.

Skills:

Pre-Op and PACU nursing experience. Patient assessment and monitoring. Post-anesthesia recovery care. IV therapy and medication administration. Airway and vital-sign monitoring. Pain and nausea management. Emergency response and critical thinking.

Requirements:

Active RN license required. Minimum 2 years of RN experience .

AHA - BLS,ACLS RN01
