Primary Patient Population:
- Stroke Rehabilitation Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Neurological assessments
- Adaptive ADLs
- Transfer/Mobility training
- Vital signs, IVs, Foley Catheter insertion/removal, Wound care, etc. Personnel Nurse Intern will work with:
- RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number of beds on unit:

As a public employer, employees participate in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS).
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Completed fundamentals of nursing
- Currently registered in clinical rotations
- Continuous enrollment in a nursing program
- Eligibility to continue in the position is a maximum of 6 months upon graduating from nursing school
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
