Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team. This position is full-time and 1st shift, with on-call rotation required. •Specifically seeking individuals with OR and/or PACU experience•
What You'll Do:
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver specialized patient care. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient care delivery. Provide one-on-one patient care before, during, and immediately following surgery until discharge criteria are met. Communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of postoperative care. Demonstrate teamwork by actively participating in patient care and providing exceptional clinical and emotional support.
What You'll Bring/Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the state of Ohio. Previous experience in Operating Room (OR) and/or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) preferred. Proficiency or willingness to learn and work in all perioperative areas including Outpatient Surgery, OR, PACU, and Endoscopy. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire. Ability to participate in on-call duties with a response time of less than 45 minutes. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing compassionate patient care. Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment. Dedication to teamwork and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Adherence to professional standards and ethical principles in nursing practice. Consistent, reliable attendance Completion of mandatory training, health requirements, and in-services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.) Compliance with hospital and departmental Ethics and Compliance programs, including promptly reporting variances through the proper channels
