Job Description

Pine View Healthcare and Rehabilitation , a nursing home in Broomall PA , is seeking a RN Admissions Nurse to join their dedicated team. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our team. Requirements of the Admissions Registered Nurse (RN): Registered Nurse license in PA. Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations. 1 year of admissions experience in SNF setting. Experience with PointClickCare electronic medical record preferred. Responsibilities of the Admissions Registered Nurse include but are not limited to: Completes assessments and documentation for new admissions. Gathers data relevant to the patient's individual needs and establish baseline plan of care. Effectively communicates with the resident, the nursing team and family as needed on items related to patient care, and smooth operations for admission, discharge, and transfer. Reconciles and verifies medications and treatments. Enters orders and treatments into the electronic health record. Obtains physician orders for admissions. Collects history and takes appropriate action when needed. Acquires consents from relevant parties and follows through as needed. Participates in nursing care for all patients and assists on the units when needed.
Hours of the position:
Monday - Friday 12:00pm. - 8:30 pm. flexibility with hours preferred.
