This rewarding contract opportunity near Mckeesport, PA, runs from ASAP through June 5th, with shifts Sunday through Thursday, 3 pm to 11 pm. Youll provide essential care and guidance in a dynamic educational setting, ensuring student health and wellness.

What Were Looking For:

Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania Active BLS certification required Up-to-date PA clearances Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a school or pediatric environment Previous experience supporting blind or visually impaired youth strongly preferred Reliable, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative setting Comfortable with either a virtual or in-person initial interview

What Youll Do:

Deliver direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments as needed Support blind students in promoting health literacy, safety, and wellness Respond to emergencies or urgent healthcare needs promptly and professionally Maintain accurate records, care plans, and documentation per school and state requirements Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes Educate students and staff on health-related matters and protocols Participate actively in case management, IEP/504 planning, and team meetings Working in this role provides the unique opportunity to foster independence and health in a diverse student population.
