Two full-time contract opportunities are available for experienced School Social Workers to serve in McMurray and Coal Center, PA. As a valued partner in educational and emotional support services, you'll play a key role in fostering student well-being and academic success.

Available positions:

McMurray Campus:

Serve students in emotional support and partial hospitalization programs. Immediate start through December 2026 (subject to change).

Coal Center:

Long-term substitute role, October 2026 through January 2027, within the California Area School District.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work (required) Active Pennsylvania State License PDE Educational Specialist certification preferred (If you do not possess this certificate, you may still be considered, as emergency certification may be available) Prior experience in school settings or with emotional/behavioral support programs is highly valued Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Key responsibilities: Deliver direct social work services to K-12 students, including individual and group counseling Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Develop and implement intervention strategies for students facing challenges Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide insights and recommendations Maintain case documentation and support compliance with district and state requirements Heres what you gain: Opportunity to impact students lives in a meaningful way Work within a collaborative, professional school community Structured full-time schedule, 35 hours per week Experience in diverse, dynamic educational settings Ready to contribute your expertise as a School Social Worker?
