We're seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and collaborative Registered Nurse to join our Support Services team. In this role, you'll help strengthen health and medical services for individuals throughout our community while supporting the people, families, providers, and teams who make a difference every day. Your Mission As our Nurse - Support Services , you'll play an important role in ensuring eligible individuals receive quality health and medical services through Medicaid Waiver and locally funded programs. You'll be a trusted resource—providing oversight, guidance, training, and consultation to providers, staff, families, and support teams. You'll help identify needs, remove barriers, improve services, and make sure the individuals we serve receive thoughtful, quality care. What You'll Do You'll have the opportunity to: Complete Nursing Quality Assurance Assessments and follow-up activities in accordance with applicable rules. Provide oversight, monitoring, and guidance regarding health and medical services in residential and day service settings. Partner with providers and support teams to improve the quality of healthcare and service delivery. Identify health-related needs and barriers and recommend solutions that support individuals and their teams. Review and monitor health information and make recommendations related to care, planning, services, and follow-up. Conduct health-related training for Medicaid Waiver providers and UCBDD staff—helping others build the knowledge and confidence they need to provide excellent care. Serve as a resource and consultant during MUI investigations when health and medical expertise is needed. Assist with gathering and providing information related to medical needs and Medicaid services. Maintain accurate records related to the health and medical needs of individuals served. Collaborate with county boards, providers, DODD representatives, and other stakeholders to improve services. Participate in meetings, work groups, and initiatives that move our mission forward. Assist the Support Services Director with developing nursing-related policies and procedures.

You should have:

An active Ohio Registered Nurse license . At least 18 months of full-time nursing experience (or part-time equivalent), including experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilities. The ability to obtain an RN Trainer certificate through DODD . The ability to obtain a QA RN certification through DODD . The ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification . The ability to obtain and maintain American Red Cross Instructor Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification . Knowledge of common health conditions and treatments. Reliable transportation. A valid State of Ohio Driver's License when operating a personal vehicle for agency business.
