About Unit:

Labor and Delivery and Mom Baby assignments within dept.

AWHONN guidelines:

1:1, 1:2 labor, 1:3 couplets 20 patient rooms used as LDR and mom baby couplet rooms, 2 Ob ORs to circulate for c/sections, 3 OB ED rooms. Required Experience Min. Of 3 years of L&D experience Mother/baby experience preferred Postpartum couplet care experience strongly preferred. Epic experience required Required Certifications/License

First Day Instructions /

Orientation:

Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination- once scheduled, candidate does not have the option of rescheduling any classes.

Hospital Orientation Information:

You will receive TWO separate communications from the hospital. The 1 st will be an email with the link for Monday's meeting as well as login information. Please note that you may not receive this email until the morning of, but you will receive by 8:30am! You will also hear directly from your manager for unit orientation and remaining schedule. If you do not hear from your manager by Monday, please let me know ASAP.

Orientation Schedule:

Report to home hospital - you will either do the EPIC test out OR do the EPIC modules
