JOB GOAL
To provide school health services to strengthen the educational process of children by assisting them to improve or adapt to their health status and to create a climate of health and well-being in the district schools.
  • Provide day to day clinical support for student/staff injuries
  • Manage IHCPs and Medical 504 plans for select students.
  • Manage/supervise children with a variety of health issues/diagnoses, including but not limited to : Various allergies, including life-threatening peanut/tree nut allergies, and diabetes.
  • Contribute to school safety and health and wellness initiatives, including proper hygiene and healthy behaviors.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and facilitate ongoing communication with families as needed.
  • Support school-wide screening assessments, such as vision and hearing.
RESPONSIBLE TO
Building Principal for day-to-day direction and supervision.
