Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare seeks a Pediatric LVN for weekend or night shifts providing one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes. In this role, you will deliver medication administration, treatments, and monitoring for medically fragile children, including possible trach, vent, and G-tube care. You will document in EMRs, follow individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with families and the clinical team. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one skilled pediatric nursing care in the home setting Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders Monitor, assess, and document pediatric patient status in EMR systems Perform tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care as assigned Follow individualized care plans and clinical protocols to ensure safety Educate and support families and caregivers on child's care needs Communicate changes in condition to supervisor and healthcare team Maintain infection control standards and accurate clinical records Collaborate with Aveanna clinical leadership for case management Participate in ongoing pediatric and home health training programs Required Skills Pediatric patient assessment Administering medications and treatments Ventilator and tracheostomy care Enteral feeding and G-tube care Electronic medical record documentation Care planning and coordination Infection control practices IV therapy and wound care Family and caregiver education Time management and independent practice
