Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a School Registered Nurse at an Adult Transition Services Camp near Cedar Park, TX, with immediate openings through May 2027. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated RN who is passionate about making a direct impact in a school environment, focusing on 1:1 care for a student in a unique educational setting. The schedule will be 4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week, with specific days and hours to be determined.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Texas RN licensure required Valid TX Psych or Diag Certification/Licensure is essential Prior experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting preferred Exceptional communication and advocacy skills Ability to collaborate closely with educators and support staff Strong organizational abilities to support individualized care
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive 1:1 nursing care for a student within the Adult Transition Services program Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions as outlined in the students care plan Monitor, document, and communicate any changes in student health status Act as a medical liaison between families, educators, and additional healthcare providers Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive educational experience This is an onsite-only position, offering a consistent weekday schedule with contracted hours that help maintain work-life balance.
