Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based role providing speech-language services to pediatric students in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from November through March/April to cover a maternity leave, offering a dynamic environment for dedicated professionals passionate about student growth and communication success.
What youll bring:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Texas SLP license and certification (SLP-CCC required) School-based SLP experience is required Pediatric-focused SLP background, with expertise in evaluation, therapy, and IEP documentation Familiarity with the caseload model and comfort working with a variety of student needs Ability to work onsite; flexibility to travel between school locations as needed Strong organizational skills for managing assessments, therapy planning, and reporting Bilingual certification is a plus (not required) Primary responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Lead therapy sessions and group interventions tailored to student needs Participate in the creation and management of IEPs; maintain ongoing documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress Support compliance with district and state regulations Enjoy working a consistent 37.5-hour work week within a supportive school community, making a direct, lasting impact on childrens communication skills.
