In this fast-paced, high-acuity setting, you'll rapidly assess, triage, and deliver evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, use advanced technology and EMR systems, and respond to critical situations with confidence. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to ER patients across all acuity levels Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced emergency setting Administer medications, therapies, and interventions per provider orders and nursing protocols Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and diagnostic results, escalating changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge instructions, and follow-up care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMRMaintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Operate and troubleshoot ER equipment (IV pumps, monitors, defibrillators, etc.) Participate in continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and technology-driven workflows Required Skills Emergency nursing care Triage and rapid assessment IV therapy and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition Advanced life support interventions Wound care and trauma management Ventilator and airway management support Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Infection control and patient safety Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication
