We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift position with a respected residential behavioral health program in the Locust Grove, Virginia area. This is an opportunity to move beyond the traditional hospital nursing environment and join a collaborative behavioral health team providing individualized care to clients working through complex mental health needs. What You'll Do As a Night Shift RN, you will help maintain a safe, supportive, and clinically sound environment throughout the overnight shift.

Responsibilities include:

Providing direct nursing care and ongoing patient assessment Administering medications and monitoring effectiveness and potential side effects Monitoring changes in physical, emotional, and behavioral presentation Responding appropriately to clinical concerns and changes in condition Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation Communicating important clinical information during shift transitions Collaborating with clinical, medical, and behavioral health team members Supporting patients with professionalism, compassion, and appropriate boundaries Helping maintain a therapeutic and safe residential environment Who We're Looking For We'd like to speak with nurses who are dependable, clinically confident, and comfortable working with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications:

Active RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia Graduate of an accredited nursing program Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work effectively and independently during overnight hours Behavioral health, psychiatric, residential treatment, substance use, or related experience is highly valued Nurses coming from other clinical environments who have a genuine interest in behavioral health are also encouraged to apply.
