A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
- a Private Adult Drug & Alcohol Treatment that specializes in serving our Warriors
- Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, First Responders and Civilian Warriors.
SHIFTS are:
3 days a week, 12 hours each shift. 7a-7p Be a part of a great team that assists the brave men and women who serve and continue to serve our Country! Duties to Include but not limited to:- Detox facility
- assist clients in safely detoxing from substances
- Triage residential client complaints
- Medication compliance
- Medication administration
- Medical documentation
- Working under doctors orders
- Attend Treatment Team Staffing, if needed
- Attend Medical Team Staffing
- Maintain & Exceed individual JCAHO compliance, Virginia Dept State HealthServices compliance and other regulatory agencies
- Contact with family members, crisis interventions, etc
- Paperwork Requirements to include but not limited to:
- Must be licensed in the State of Virginia with good standings
- Clean clinical record verified by appropriate agencies
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
- Team Player and excellent communicator
- Calm demeanor, mission driven, dedicated to sobriety
- HIPAA Compliant
- Computer skills
