  • Full-time The Union House Nursing Home is a 44-bed skilled nursing facility that provides Quality and Compassionate Resident Centered Care to the residents we serve.
We're located in beautiful Glover, VT. We are currently accepting applications for a licensed RN (Registered Nurse), and LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to assess the healthcare needs of the resident. Is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for the resident. Demonstrates the ability to lead and direct the nursing staff to promote a safe and effective Resident Centered delivery of care by providing a structured environment for staff and residents. Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, families, medical staff and community. Demonstrates the knowledge to assess the effect of medications and treatments and monitor these effects to provide appropriate feedback to interdisciplinary team and medical managers to continuously provide the resident with appropriate treatment. Demonstrates responsibility for one's own practice, utilizing educational opportunities to expand or refresh skills and/or knowledge and then demonstrates the ability to apply knowledge and share with others. Demonstrates the ability to provide education to residents regarding their healthcare status and care plan strategies. Actively participates in the Quality Assurance process, with ability to apply the process to daily work. Demonstrates the ability to document data in an accurate and timely way. Complies with legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to those within the Compliance Process, Code of Conduct and HIPPA.
