This contract opportunity, part-time for the 2026-2027 school year, calls for a dedicated RN to serve as a substitute, providing essential care for students ages 3 to 22. Your flexibility and commitment can make a real difference for children, teens, and young adults, all within a supportive academic community.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN license in good standing Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or related nursing fields preferred Skilled in assessing and responding to student health needs across a wide range of ages and developmental stages Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Adaptable and reliable, with the ability to cover a variety of shifts and responsibilities between 6am and 4pm as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver health assessments, routine care, and emergency nursing services to students Administer medications and manage care for chronic conditions according to individualized plans Maintain accurate health records and documentation Foster a safe, inclusive space by educating students and staff on health practices Respond quickly and appropriately to health incidents or emergencies on campus
