October 1, 2026 - June 3, 2027 A school district in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate and dependable School Nurse to join its educational team for the remainder of the school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a healthcare professional who is passionate about supporting student wellness, promoting healthy school environments, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure students are ready to learn each day. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing services and health support to students throughout the school day. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies. Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs. Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions when necessary. Required Qualifications Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school personnel and families. Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and professional standards. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a school, pediatric, community health, or public health setting. Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. Experience managing student health records and medication administration.
