Job Description & Responsibilities:

The role and responsibility of the Substitute Nurse includes, but not limited to: Carrying out necessary daily tasks and responsibilities in place of the School Nurse whose absence is being substituted Engaging students Demonstrating a passion for working with students Creating a safe and nurturing environment Maintaining a positive, friendly, and respectful demeanor at all times Establishing positive relationships

Requirements:

Requires either an Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or "School Nurse" as defined by Wisconsin State Statute, and current Wisconsin Board of Nursing license. Current AED, First Aid and CPR certifications. Previous direct nursing experience is preferred. Classroom experience preferred but not required Criminal History Background Check - both State and Federal Excellent communication skill
