help patients access compassionate, coordinated care across the Southeast. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As a Patient Care Liaison, you'll be the first, welcoming face and voice for our patients. You'll guide them through their care journey with empathy and professionalism, ensuring each visit is smooth, efficient, and supportive. You'll partner closely with providers, patient care coordinators, and clinic teams to create an exceptional patient experience. What you'll do Greet patients warmly; manage check-in and check-out with attention and care. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments to keep patient flow efficient. Verify insurance, explain financial responsibilities clearly, and process payments. Answer and triage incoming calls; respond to inquiries professionally and compassionately. Collect vitals and lab specimens when needed; educate patients on clinic policies. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and clinic standards. Coordinate with providers, billing, and clinic staff to ensure seamless care transitions. Process prior authorizations as required. Keep reception and patient areas clean, organized, and patient-ready. A few more things Ensure patient information is complete and current; close the loop on patient needs by proactively coordinating among team members. Be adaptable—other duties may be assigned by leadership. Regular attendance is an essential function of this role. Requirements:
Required High School Diploma or Equivalent. Customer service experience (any industry). Preferred 6+ months of medical office experience. Experience with EMR systems, medical terminology, and health care procedures. Personal attributes Dependable, professional, empathetic, and genuinely wanting to help people in a caring way. Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable and proactive, with a positive and team-focused attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
