Pain and Palliative Associates is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient pain management and palliative care consultations in the East Valley. This position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule and is ideal for a motivated provider seeking flexibility and strong earning potential within a high-volume, well-established practice. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with encounter-based compensation: Initial 90-day training and probationary period: $30 per consult After successful completion of the probationary period: Eligible for an increase to $35 per encounter Our practice is already well established within the hospitals we serve, so consults are actively in place from day one. As provider relationships develop and deepen, consult volume can continue to expand. Greater visibility leads to more consults—and greater earning potential. Income scales directly with the number of patients seen. Motivated, efficient, and clinically strong providers can substantially increase their earnings through productivity. Pain management or palliative care board certification is preferred. If the selected provider is not currently certified, they will be required to obtain pain management or palliative care board certification within 12 months of their start date.

Be board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hold an active Arizona professional license Maintain an active DEA registration Carry their own malpractice insurance Shadowing and in-person training will be provided to support each provider during onboarding and the initial training period. Pain and Palliative Associates is a well-established private practice staffed by fellowship-trained physicians and board-certified pain and palliative care providers. Our team works collaboratively in the inpatient setting to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting hospital partners throughout the Valley.

Pay:

$145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
