As a Patient Services Representative (PSR), you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our patients from the moment they connect with MCHC. If you're friendly, organized, enjoy helping people, and take pride in helping things run smoothly, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Greet patients and visitors and provide friendly, professional assistance. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits. Register and check in patients and maintain accurate information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Verify insurance eligibility and connect patients with financial assistance resources when needed. Assist patients with forms, consents, and other required documentation. Collect and accurately post copayments and other patient payments. Answer calls, respond to voicemail, and connect patients with the appropriate resources. Communicate wait times and promptly alert clinical staff when patients need immediate attention. Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience in healthcare, in a similar position or in another industry, in a customer service role Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent
