Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and sanitation practices. Foster positive guest relations by creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on building rapport with customers. Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary settings. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
