Our mission is to preserve and improve human life and relationships. The ideal candidate communicates professionally, follows through consistently, protects client confidentiality, and understands the importance of helping individuals access treatment. Responsibilities Respond to admission calls, emails, website inquiries, and referrals. Build rapport with prospective clients and families. Complete pre-admission screenings and collect demographic, medical, psychiatric, substance-use, medication, and treatment-history information. Verify insurance eligibility and behavioral-health benefits. Collect insurance cards, identification, releases, medication lists, and required records. Coordinate admission dates, arrival times, transportation, and other intake arrangements. Follow up consistently with prospective clients, families, and referral sources. Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record, CRM, and admissions tracker. Provide complete admission information to the clinical, medical, and operations teams. Maintain confidentiality and comply with
HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2, and facility policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience in healthcare intake, admissions, behavioral health, substance use treatment, insurance verification, customer service, or a related position. Strong telephone, communication, organization, and follow-through skills. Ability to communicate calmly with individuals and families experiencing stressful situations. Computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record and CRM systems. Behavioral-health or substance use treatment experience is strongly preferred. RADT, SUDRC, RAC, or a related credential is preferred but not required. Schedule and Compensation Full-time position. Some evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call availability may be required based on admission needs.
Pay:
$22-$26 per hour , based on relevant admissions, behavioral-health, and insurance-verification experience. Final admission decisions are made by authorized clinical and medical personnel. The Admissions Coordinator does not independently diagnose clients, determine medical necessity, provide counseling, or guarantee insurance coverage. TBH is an equal-opportunity employer.
