Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant K-12 setting. This full-time, on-site position near Whittier, CA, offers the chance to support students' growth and development across a diverse district, beginning as soon as possible. What you'll bring: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (California) Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred Strong understanding of school-based OT evaluation, intervention, and IEP documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced educational setting Your responsibilities will include: Delivering direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assessing student needs using appropriate tools and reporting on progress toward goals Collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and family members to design and implement strategies promoting students' participation in academic and functional school activities Maintaining thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and district requirements Contributing to IEP meetings and providing training or resources to educational staff as necessary In this position, you will find a collaborative atmosphere where your expertise is valued and your impact is visible.
