Job Description
We are looking for a part time Patient Services Coordinator to support our Fort Lauderdale Clinic. Work schedule is 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday - Thursday for a total of 20 hours per week. You will handle all day to day tasks and help provide high quality service to our patients. You should be able to multitask, prioritize and handle sensitive information confidentially. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in medical front office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic Punctual and reliable Precise attention to detail and organization Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Proficiency with patient databases and web applications Proficiency with MS Office Warm, friendly, outgoing demeanor Customer service oriented Positive attitude Excellent phone etiquette Ability to follow through with tasks with minimal direction Ability to maintain discretion and patient confidentiality Stable long-term work history without job hopping Responsibilities Create and maintain patient files Keep patient database up to date Call in patient prescriptions Order office supplies and snacks Place and pickup office lunch orders Manage bank deposits Confirm patient appointments Provide general phone assistance to patients Open and sort mail, receive faxes, and scan documents Maintain excel spreadsheets and word documents Assist with special projects
